I have Gatorback VR50s and had to have a screw removed from my left rear tire. The shop the fixed it used a plug and I have been driving on it for ~8 months with no problem (and my daily drive is at high speeds on semi jarring roads). Of course I may just be lucky. I currently need new front tires and there is no way I am going to move the rears to the front because of the plug. Does anyone know how long a plug lasts? Should I get 4 new tires (even though the rears are hardly worn)?
