Explorer - Michelin vs Goodyear

I'm trying to replace the factory installed Wrangler RT/S, which is obviously a very bad tire, and everywhere the recommedation seems to be to go with the Michelins. Is the Michelin LTX M/S the same as the AC LT4 (or something like that)? Does anyone have an opinion on the Wrangler RF/A tire? Thank you for any input.
