Changing the OEM tire size.

My original tire size is 195/65R15. I like the factory
alloy wheels, so I'm staying with the 15" rims. But I was
thinking of going with wider tire. 205/60R15 is about 1.2%
smaller (diameter) than the factory. 215/60R15 is just about the same
overall diameter as the stock tires. But I'm not sure if
I want to jump from a 195 to a 215. But if I only go 205,
the speedo will be off, though only slightly.

How much wider can I go on a 6" wide rim? Any *long term*
effects from using a tire that's not the original diameter?
How was the ride affected? Any comments from anyone who
has changed their stock tire size would be appreciated.

Tks
