Joel, it depends on the size of your rims and if you have a lift. If you have a stock lift and rims then the biggest you can go is 30" x 9.50". That won't rub on the wheel wells. I built a 91 wrangler from stock to a 4" Sky Jacker Soft Ride, 32" x 11.50" BFG Mud's with quick disconnects and a full interior, exterior and sound system upgrade. My best friend and my other buddy both have 98 wranglers that are far from stock. If i were you I would get a Teraflex lift on that bad boy and put on atleast 32" x 11.50"'s with some teraflex quick disconnects. Don't worry about your engine size, the four poppers in those work great and wheel like a banshee. You won't lose that much in gas mileage and what you do lose will be made up in appearence and attracting women. email me if you have questions.
