After having a tire plug go bad today I was told it was time for new tires on my 97 Yukon. I currently have P245 75R16 BF Goodrich and wanted to go to P265 75R16 Michelin LTX/AT. The guys at my garage told me the speedometer would be off 3-4 miles/hr (slower) but the most important difference would be in how the anti-lock brakes are callibrated and thus effected. They told me to check with the GM Dealer and see if it is possible to recalibrate the anti-lock brakes.
