First get the OEM tires off the vehicle. All OEM tires are about the cheapest that the factory can buy.
They last quite well but are to hard to work even on dry pavement.
Check on the web under tires and read all the hype that the tire manufacturesr put out but don't pay much attantion to wear.
Look under traction and find the best rating for the type tire you want to use.
Mud and most off road tires are worse on roads that are wet, have snow on them and a lot worse on ice.
If you aren't using the vehicle off road get the mildest off road tread you are willing to use.
