Terrible Traction On Wet Surfaces!! Any SUV Tires Suggestions??

I was driving last week on wet pavement, going about 10 MPH or less while turning when suddenly I started to fishtail and lost control. A split second later I hit the curb and my tire lost it's seal which in turn let out all the air. This has happend ever since I got my Mazda Navajo but not this bad. I was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion on what type of SUV tire I should buy that will handle well in wet and snowy conditions. Please Email me if you have any suggestions.
