One of the best informational guides I use is the Consumer Reports Magazine. The last issue on All Season Tires was February 1997. Recommeded tires were the Pirelli P400,Dunlop SP40, Goodyear Regatta, Cooper Lifeliner Classic IIand the Kelly-Springfield Navigator 800S. My wife is driving a Ford Taurus Wagon. I bought B.F.Goodrich Lifesaver A/W tires with a tread life of 65000 miles. Now I'm buying new tires with only 30000 miles on them. Be sure to follow the warranty when you purchase new tires. Usually you have to bring the car in every 5000 miles for checkups.
