The hesitation is due to the slow flowing of the transmission fluide at start up when it is cold. I switched to a synthetic transmission fluid and the problem was gone. I have the Dunlop D60A2 on my Camry. (rated #1 by Consumers Magazine) They have good dry and wet traction, only shortcoming is they wear out quite fast. Otherwise I have no complaints.
