I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe with stock P245/75R16 tires. I'm looking to replace them with Michelin LTX M/S tires.
Chevrolet Customer Relations told me that Chevy recommends replacement only with P245/75R16 tires. Only Michelin LTX M/S in that size with ORWL is
LT245/75R16. Does anyone have any experience with the Michelin LTX M/S LT245/75R16 tire? I do 100% street and highway travel so a smooth quiet ride is
important. Is the "LT" tire as smooth and as quiet as the "P" tire? Is the Michelin LTX M/S P265/70R16 an acceptable substitute? Cadillac Escalade and GMC
Denali use a P265/70R16 size tire. I don't want to have to recalibrate any computer systems or the ABS.
