I bought Gislaved NordFrost II winter tires to my
Olds Silhouette minivan in 1995, because they had won
a comprehensive test on the magazine Tekniikan Maailma
( World of Technics , a Finnish magazine with large
circulation ). The size is 195/65 , 15" . Each tire can
be loaded at over 600 kg. My car weighs 1700 kg.

I used the right pressures all the way.

After 3.5 years and under 30000 km, the front tires
are close to explosion. The outer sidewalls have circular
cracks of over 2" in lenght. There are even cracks in the
radial direction. The minimum temp. has been -37 C
during my usage.

Because I want my kids to live, this was my last
experiment with Gislaved tires. In addition, if You
want to visit www.gislaved.com, it is not there, they
are hiding from You.
