I have a '94 Mustang. I used Goodyear 245/45ZR17 tires and only got about 24,000 miles out of them. They did fair in the rain with wear. I have now found the same size tire made by Summit. It has a deaper and wider tread. Too me, it sticks just about as good as the Goodyear, but seems to last well over 30,000 if taken care of. They run extremely well in the rain even after 50 - 60% wear. The big plus is that they run about $100 less than the Goodyear's.
