While looking for the Avids in town I ran across a set of A509 94Vs for $47 each. The best price I could get on the Avids was $375 out the door. I bought the A509s ($250 otd) and am very happy. They have a much lower tread wear rating (160 vice 360) probably because they are V speed rated and I assume softer than the H rated Avids. But, I don't drive the car hard very often and have enjoyed them so far.
