I've had the Alpines since end of Nov and seems to be best all around dry and snow tire
for my SVT Contour. Only minuses: some 'whistling' on wet roads; quiet on dry and doesn't
handle crusty 4 to 6" slush too well. Raining cats and dogs and frogs in Toronto right
now. Winter seems to be over :) ck
