I have a Toyota Camry with Michelin XH4's. The right rear tire
has developed a "crease-like" bubble on the sidewall. The service
mgr. at tire dealer tells me it is not a defect, that it was an
impact problem. I have no idea how that could happen in everyday
driving, and he came up with this explanation by simply looking
at the tire, while still on the car. There are no marks on the
tire sidewall to indicate an impact---could this be the case?
He seemed to have made up his mind it was not a defect without ever
suggesting that the tire be removed. Do they ever admit to a defect?
