First, don't even consider high performance tires for snow, you will have alot of trouble moving your car, and then once your moving stopping is a real issue. Make sure you purchase an all season. Remember to you're snow performance is only going to get worse with a wider and lower profile tire. Have you considered using your old rims for snow tires and your wider ones for some ultra-high performance tires. All season treads do compromise performance not matter how good the tire.
