You may want to look at the Nokian Hakkas. They give an excellent balance of tread life and winter traction. Note, you may want to see if you can downsize the tires and install 14" steel wheels. You be able to get cheaper tires (sometimes the steel wheel and snow tire cost a little more than the larger low profile tire) and better traction from a higher profile tire(probably 70 series).
