D40/M2 sucks. My friend had it on Eagle Talon Turbo when his Goodyear Eagles wore out. Compared to the Goodyears, the D40/M2 had terrible grip.
Also, take a closer look at the treads of the D40/M2 and the SP8000, the D40/M2 definitely has SMALLER tread blocks. I recommend the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71. Bridgestone tires are much better than Dunlop.
I bought my used 300ZX Turbo and it has Dunlop SP4000 All Season Performance tires and I can attest that these also suck. They feel "greasy" and "slippery" in the dry compared to my old Volkswagen Corrado which had Continental CZ-91's. Those tires had superb dry grip.
