We have two cars with Bridgestone Tranza T tires. The edges
of the tires on both cars are cupping, generating a lot of road noise. When running your hand over the edge of the tire
there is more resistance in one direction, one edge of the tread profile is higher, the resulting impact on the road
makes the noise. One car is a Mercedes 420 and the other a Ford Sable. The Mercedes has the worst edge wear. I just had the alingment checked and it was basically ok. Anyone with an explanation?. The Sable has about 10K miles and the 420 about 15K. Gene
