The best winter tires are the Dunlop Graspic HS1 or HS2. The HS2 is the same as the HS1 only it has a lower profile. I got them for 115$ CDN each amd the size was P205-60R15. They're less expensive in 14 inches. But I've had them one year and they handle great. The wheels hardly spin when you start normally. They only perform badly on ice because they're studless. I would also recommend you get thinner tires because they're is less drag on the wheels so you don't waste too much fuel. If you want more info go to www.tirerack.com
