It turns out, the tires may not have been defective after all.
They did provide exellent wet traction though. I tried the
BFGoodrich Comp T/A ZR series and I felt a traction improvement
over the Firestones. My belief is Firestone put the majority
of the design into wet performance, verses dry performance.
I have no experience with the Yokohama's. I am happy with
my Comp T/A's.
