They are both good tires but the Michelins are considered a step up from the T/A's. I don't know how much you are willing to spend but the X-One's will last about 40,000 miles or so longer and will yield a much higher level of wet and snow traction. I've test driven them both and can confirm the better traction ability of the Michelin. Dry traction is about the same, though.
