I found this link to the Firestone Firehawk SZ50.
The message was about bad firehawks, bad traction and wet weather also.
I own two very strong Ford Mustangs, One with Firehawk SZ50's and the
other with BF Goodrich, I have tried Goodyear, and Sumitomo, ALL I can
Say is that The SZ50's grab big time rain or shine - and in the rain -
get this part -> they some how keep the car straight IF they even spin
at all under hard acceleration, The other car is very wild in the wet,
you have to light-foot it in the rain - SWAPPING the tires one the cars
makes the reverse true, Both cars are built even and perform alike -
I would advise getting rid of your stock firehawks or NTB tires and
get yourself the FIREHAWK SZ50 - expensive but will work ! and seem to be
out lasting most others I have tried so far.
