Well, I have a 96 Civic.. It came stock with the Dumlop SP 20 (186/65R-14) and it has
a decent ride to it.. I have driven Civics with the Firestone FR 680's and thought
they were a bit "twitchy" on the highway.. My Dunlops were more composed at Highway speed
as were a good all around tire.. Honda did drop using the Firestones and are using
only Dunlop's now.. I do believe it's a better tire.. My treadwear rating is 360 (I know
it's in the 300's)..

For your size tire why not go get yourself some Dunlop D60 A2 ?? It's a wonderful tire..
Had it on a 91 CRX Si (Honda).. Handled really well.. And good in snow.. Unfortunately I
I can't get a 185/65R-14 in the D60 A2.. So have been looking at Pirelli P6000 Sport
Veloce.. Haven't heard that many bad things about them... Actually good things.. Also
looked at Michelin's MXV4 Energy.. But heard more horror stories about them... Hope that
answers any questions you have.
