I'll just follow up briefly and then I am going to fetch my friend Josh to
help you with this. The Michelins are terrible, I say get them off and
just put on the temporary spare, you'll get better handling. I just switched
tires on my Prelude VTEC which has the same stock size. Before I go any
further about the type of tires, let me tell you that I switched from the
205/55/15 to 225/50/15 and am a lot happier. It will reduce your choices a lot,
but I like the feel with the wider tires, and they go on the stock rims. The
tires I put on are the Falken Ziexs. They have a very aggressive tread pattern,
and a huge groove down the middle to channel water. So far I am happy, but I
think that the Dunlop SP4000s were a softer compound than these are. If you
want all out performance than go for the Dunlop SP9000s (brand new) or
Pirelli P-Zeros - the mother of all tires! Both are available in 225/50/15.
