The General Tires that came with my brand new 1997 Totota Camry LE V6 only lasted for 5,000 miles before two went flat and one had a tear. All of the tires were falling apart so I had to replace all four tires plus the spare because of their poor quality even though the tires only had 5,000 miles. The dealer would not help me. He told me I needed to contact the tire company. But I do not think that it is legal or ethical for Toyota to be putting sub-standard tires on their cars. Has anyone else had these complaints with the General tires on their new Camrys and, if so, I would be interested in pursuing legal action against Toyota.
