I own a 1984 Mazda 626 and I put a set of Avids on it one year ago.
These are, by far, the best tires I have ever had. I live in Louisiana and
experience a lot of rain. The Yokahamas handle wet pavement as well as my last set
of Dunlops handled dry. This is a high performance all weather tire; yeah,
I know it sounds like an oxymoron, with a 40,000 mile warranty and a M+S rating
to boot. They handle very well on wet and dry pavement and handle muddy back roads
well too. I live at the end of a mile of dirt road and these tires plow right through.
I got them through a mail order tire place on the internet and only paid $222 for them.
I am very impressed with them and highly recommend them for any application.
