Ken, Thanks for responding to my inquiry. I'm looking for high performance all season tires. I live in Seattle where it, ahem, rains just a tad. My primary interest is good traction and handling on wet roads. Next strongest interest is decent traction on snowy roads, although if there are trade-offs, I'd opt in favor of a tire that is good on wet roads. Third most important criterion is decent longevity. I'm aware that there are trade-offs between "stickiness" on wet roads vs. longevity, so my primary interest is still for good wet traction. I have a Honda Accord that I frequently drive at 75 mph on freeways. (When we're not having one of our infamous Seattle traffic jams, that is.) We're not talking a high performance car (or driver) here, and I'm not willing to make the investment in plus-sized wheels and tires. Hope this information helps. I look forward to learning from your experiences in selecting tires.
