dboy Associate Member	posted April 30, 2001 11:53 PM The problem with my car is that I bought it second hand with a new paint job, and there is no sticker on the door. My car is a 1992 NX Coupe 1600. David unregistered	posted May 01, 2001 04:36 AM According to specs for your specific vehicle it came with P175/70SR13 with recomended inflation pressure of 32F & 29R. Don is correct that you should use the original inflation pressure as a guide even when plus sizing, especialy if there is a bias F to R as in the case with your vehicle. You can adjust from there. Rule of thumb is to do it in two psi increments (maintaining the bias in the begining) up or down to achieve the desired ride & wear characteristics or to maximize the performance capabilities of the new rubber. You must however keep in mind that when adjusting down you are also reducing load capacity. The OE 175/70R13 had a max load capacity of 1036(@35psi) p metric & 1047(@36psi) non P-metric. Specs indicate your vehicle came with a P metric, at the OE recomended inflation your load capacity was 992F & 948R. The 215/40R16 needs 32psi for 948 & 34psi for 995 load carrying capacity.
