I installed a set of uniroyal XTM's xtra load on my 1988 Chevy
Suburban 2 wheel drive in August of 1995. These tires were
excellent in every aspect the first year. In August of 1996, while
on vacation in Maine, I experanced air loss. On returning to
Virginia I had the tires rotated and ask the service to check the
tires for slow leaks. Nothing was found. I continued to lose air
and returned several times for service. The last time I was in the
shop the technician stated that a very slow leak was found around
the rim seal and he had deteched corrosion on the rim. I purchased
a wheel had the tire reinstalled and am still losing air. My
examination of the old wheel only reveled some surface rust. Hey out
there any suggestions. I am getting tired of putting air in these
tires every three days.
