What you said is true, but two things should be considered.

1. Hakka Q is not so much better that I'd recommend to anyone tossing new unstudded tires of another brand for them (Artic Alpin for example), the differences are small relative to the cash your throughing away.
2. If you have to have the best traction and you drive in areas that allow studs, the top performing studded tires are MUCH MUCH better on ice.

The Hakka Q is probably the wisest choice if you need new snow tires with long life and you drive in a lot of snow with little ice. One of the tests shows the Hakka Q keeps its traction properties after a good deal of wear.

I still don't get how people can exaggerate this tire so, if it was that amazing, that little Finn company with so few engineers would have been bought up by someoneelse a long time ago.
