I'm planning to install snow tires on my '99 expedition (255/70 R16). I live in Edmonton, Alberta so ice traction is a factor. Two possibilities are the Nokian HAKKAPELIITTA 10 LT and the Blizzark Winter Dueler. A possible problem with the Nokian's is that the only size that would fit is the LT245/75R16 and this is a 10 ply tire. Can anyone tell me whether the ride with this tire would be unbearably rough? Any suggestions on other options? Thanks.
