I went to a local tire dealer and asked about the Nokians. Strangely enough, they recommended that I pick up a set of Hankooks instead (strange, eh?). Anyways, they told me that Hankook copied the tread design from Nokian and integrated it into their tire. They also claim the Hankooks are just as good as the Nokians. Does anybody know anything regarding this?? Personally, I don't think I'm being told the truth but if anybody has any experience with the Hanooks, I'd like to hear about it. I'm most likely going to get a set of Nokians but if for some reason these Hankooks (about 2/3's the cost) aren't bad, I'll look into maybe getting some of those.
