Purchasing new tires for an old Jag - 1978 XJ6. Size 215/65/15 - T or H-rated. I probably don't need the factory V-rateds. Considering the two Pirellis mentioned - which is quieter? Does the 4000 out perform 400 by much? Is the 400 better at anything except longevity? Anybody had both? Michelin Pilot XGTH4 is another more sporting possibility - will I lose ride quality with this tire? Anybody had 'em on a Jag? Any other suggestions (how bout a D60A2)? Also has anybody switched from stock 205/70 to 215/65 on a Jag - what are the trade offs? Thanks!
