I tend to agree with the previous post. I have owned three different snow tires. And each one seemed to excel over the other in a particular condition. Blizzacks (old) incredible on ice, ok in snow, poor in rain/wet. Michelin XM+S Alpins, incredible in fresh deep snow, not a lot of traction on glare ice. Very good on wet and dry though and long wearing. My third are Nokian Hakka 1's, good overall also especially slush. Of the three I can not say which one is the best as each excelled in a particular condition. They all have gotten me safely/effectively to the slopes, and that is all I need them for anyway.
