Based on my research, the "classic" Blizzak model would be great for such snow depth, or the Yokohama Guardex.

I drove 2 FWD sedans in some nasty Dakota winters with 85" of snow. Past 8" or so, I knew better than to try it. I've seen Explorers, full-sized Chevy pickups and Grand Cherokees become helpless in a foot of snow.

But snow tires have taken me thru a 3' snow drift from a parked stop.

Hints: Be sure to get 4 tires, not just 2. Remember, few places are slipperier than a freshly plowed street.
