'97 Pathfinder 235-70-15 replacements

Can anyone tell me why Nissan put a OEM 235-70-15 tire on their XE and LE Pathfinders? I need an A/T tire and can't get a Michelin LTX A/T, a BF Goodrich TA K/O, or a Goodyear Wrangler A/T in a 235-70-15. I can't even put a Michelin LTX M/S on in that size!
