Before you buy the Dunlop sp4000, they have just introduced it's replacement called
the sp5000. And since it's so new you will only find it on Tirerack if do a search
for Dunlop tires. After looking at it here, you will notice it has a similar look to
the sp9000 except with an all season tread compound and a ton of little sipes across
the tread. I have not had experience with the Dunlops, but I looked into buying it before I got
I purchased my pirelli p7000 supersports. I am sure the sp5000's offer better performance
characteristics and can you believe they are slightly cheeper than the sp4000. Anyway
my suggestion is go with the Pirelli p7000's I just love them on my 99 mustang GT.
