DJ, there are really no negative results from going to a bigger rim except for a slight increase in "road feel". In other words - you will probably feel more bumps than before, however your car will handle better. I would definitely change to a larger rim and lower profile tire. The size will be close enough. It will be slightly smaller but not enough to affect anything. As far as a rim tire combo, it depends what you are looking for. Any rim will work as long as the bolt pattern fits and the backspacing is correct.
