I would second the vote on the Goodyear Aquatred. I had a 90 Accord and they ran very well on it. I live in Los Angeles and we get rain about two months of the year, but when it does rain it usually is pouring all the time. The Aquatreds did a great job of avoiding hydroplaning. They also handled pretty well in the dry too. The only problem with them is that they tend to drone a bit as they wear down.
