The Scorpion tire compound emphasizes better adhesion at the cost of tread longevity. So if cost is a concern the per mile cost is actually about equal b/c the Pirelli compound degrades quicker (remember that little edge in puddles), expect about 35K. Now, eval. your cost variance - Scorpion .0027 cents/mile versus LTX .0028 cents/mile. On a simpler note, if part of your decision is aesthetics the Scorpions make every vehicle look cool.
