X-One vs Bridgestone Turanza (Honda Accord DX 185/70/14

I have recently purchased the X-One's to my Honda Accord DX -(14 Inch rim) ( Michelin doesn't have a lot of choices for the 185/70/14- ).
I was looking for a quiet , comfortable ride and some performance. The tires handles very well and it is very quiet, but...It seems like x-one provides everything I looked for except the comfort. the tire picks all the bumps and it doesn't absorb the road shocks, the ride is too hard. I live in Chicago , the place of the concrete noisy highways so it might be the part of the problem.
Would any of you had similar problems or it's just my imagination ?
Would Bridgestone Turanza provide a more comfortable less bumpy ride ? What tire would you suggest for 185/70/14(NOT 15) Accord DX
