Dunlop SP9000 vs Pirelli P7000 Supersport

I have a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon and currently have
Dunlop SP9000. They are great tires which perform very
well in dry weather. They work even better in the wet season
in Southern California which only lasts a couple of months
but when it rains alot all at once! They
are also very quiet and seem to deliver a fairly comfortable
ride (for a stiff suspension car).

I'm thinking of changing to Pierelli P7000 Supersports
as they seek to have the same characteristics and have
, if I believe the advertising, some light snow traction.
Plus they are sell at Tirerack for $110 vs $155 for the
Dunlops.

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with the
Pirelli's? I'm looking for a nice blend of handling in
dry/wet with ride comfort and low noise.

TIA,
Eric
