As you know there are an abundance of tires out there that would suit your needs. Since you deliver mail, and I am assuming that some of that is rural, perhaps with the possibility of some bad weather in the winter and early spring, I would have to recommend a decent all terrain tire. Check into BF Goodrich Radial AT's, perhaps the Firestone Wilderness, or perhaps a tire by Michelin. All are good choices...As far as how big to go, you can safely move up to 30 X 9.5, without compromising ride, or worrying about rubbing the fender wells with serious articulation (ie...when the suspension is flexed to an extreme in one way or another.) Your best bet would be to check out TireRack.com online or perhaps head to a memebers club like Sam's or BJ's if you have one. Sears is another pretty decent place to start as well.
