I have a 1993 Ford Explorer that vibrates like a four-horse wagon at 55+mph. I have replaced the tires with Firestone ATX since that's the original tire. I can't keep the tires balanced. I have aligned it, replaced shocks, etc. I have concluded that the Firestone ATX should be disposed of entirely. I have a brand-new set, but I've got to replace them before I go nuts. What brand of tires do you suggest? I have been told Bridgestone and Pirelli. I'd like to know what Ford has to say about this problem. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
