Michelin XGTV4 vs MXV4 on Volvo S70 T5

I have a 98 Volvo S70 T5 with 36000 miles on the XGTV4's. Both local Michelin dealers are recommending that I switch to MSV4's, saying the ride will be smoother and I won't loose any handling below 140 mph. I love the current handling, but the ride is a little harsh.
Any comments on the handling comparison of the XGTV4 vs MSV4?
