Just to throw a DIFFERENT opinion in the works, had a set of Pirelli P400's
on my 82 T/A. Got 35m miles and 3 MN winters out of them with NO problems.
Went to the Dunlop D60A2 when I could FIND the Pirelli's. The very first
winter, I had NO traction at all in the snow...even with 100lbs in the rear
cargo area of the T/A. I'm definitely replacing them before snow flies this
year, and they only have between 8-9m miles on them. Can't be without a car
and traction for that long.
