Not so...Yokohama made the Kirkland Signiture passenger car tire until Costco changed their relationship with Yokohama a couple of years ago. They were a very good tire and an EXCELLENT value. More recently, MAST has supplied the Kirkland Signiture Tire; the passenger tire from BFG, and the truck tire from Uniroyal. These are both an even better tire than that supplied by Yokohama and also an even better value. I personally have the Kirkland Signiture P195/75/14 on my Mercedes 240D and LOVE them. Paid the price of the competitors 40,000 mile tire and received a tire which performs great, and at 35,000 miles, has over 50% tread left.
