I own a 93 LX 5.0 with 16 inch pony rims and it needs new tires as well. I was considering
several different brands. I looked at Pirelli P0's, Dunlop SP8000, BFG Comp T/A and Firestone. I was
going to go with BFG Comp T/A's but after reading the Tire Rack's review I'm going to get
some Firestone SZ50's. They are slightly more then BFG, slighly less then Dunlop, and seem to offer
the best wet and dry traction, ride comfort, and don't make a lot of noise. Hope that helps.
