the answer is simply this. as you go up in speed ratings the tire normally has more nylon
overlays built into the belt package to (1) prevent heat build-up(less friction,etc) and
(2)the vehicle reacts quicker in panic situations because the tire will come out of a fold
quicker. think about it.
